familia!!!
Seth, happy birthday. Matthew happy late late birthday. happy birthday grandma and grandpa! also mom i need dallas elders address. i have a card for his birthday but i dont know where is in santiago.p im sorry there are no exclamtion marks but the keyboard went nuts and doesnt want to put them or any other things. kind of weird.
so just pretend i am just being really happy and excited about all of these things because i am! oh i found it it is on letter 7 now. weird. but yes mom ipod! if somehow you can put the installsetup for itunes on there thatd be great. just click and drag it to the harddrive of the ipod. the actual harddrive. then i can install whenever im on any computer cause like none have it and im not allowed to download it. but yeah.
so what i have learned. well what i have found out is awesome! pure revelation! lately we are working really hard trying to find new people to teach. we dont have many. so i was praying to know how i can find more people, do what the lord wants. and... i got my answer. i need to invite more people to follow jesus christ and be baptized. if you think about it, why would the lord give us HIS children if we are not teaching them how they can actually return to live with him. it makes a lot of sense. he wont give me his children to teach if i dont teach them how to return to live with him, or baptism. now we are inviting a lot more people, we are seeing big changes. it is incredible. i am working on explaining so people understand they really do NEED to be baptized. so clear they want to be baptized. it is basically what iv learned this week.
i feel really grateful to have learned so many things early and quick in the mission. it is mostly because i make a lot of mistakes because i am not afraid to try things, which leads to me learning quicker! a lot of elders shy away from teaching much, doing other things, but not me! i look a little crazy sometimes but you learn faster! you could just say im a elder with a lot of faith because i am all about DO. lets just do it and see what happens. if its not bad, sounds good then do it... faith without works is dead. we are here in this life to make mistakes and learn. if you never try, you never make mistakes, if you never make mistakes you never learn, if you never learn you never progress. thus the more you try and fail, the better you get at fixing things. so basically i am grateful for that ability i have to just do things from the lord. I see a few elders asking me questions, looking to me for advice and it makes my heart sick. they all say how they are bad elders and they should know more for their time etc..... but really what they need to understand is that is soooooo incorrect. we are all the same. we are all instruments in the lords hands. and you saying that you are a bad elder is basically saying the lord is bad. it is insulting the lord. its basically saying the lord cant do anything. we are all equal. the lord is all powerful. you saying one is better than the other isnt logical. maybe one more obedient to do what the lord wants but we all have the same potential, what the lord wants.
Soooo..... to do what the lord wants and be an instrument, you have to follow the spirit. to follow the spirit you have to be obedient with all the rules. then everything else comes. be patient, have hope, faith, dont doubt, listen to the council of your leaders. apply what you learn and happy day!!!! easy!!!!
i am beginning to have a deep love for the mission now. I am super happy!!! i love every day i get to teach more and more. i am becoming more loving!! my life rocks oh my heck!!!!!! I LOVE YOU ALL!!! I AM GOING TO WORK!!! I LOVE WORKING!!!!!

Puerto Montt!!!

THis is one my better letters, i will try to start doing good again. :)
Hello Family! (and friends..) Things are going great here in Pichi Pelluco! We are right in the heart of the city. From this big mall and over just so you know, although we don´t head over there too often cause there are too many tourists and contacts are sort of useless in a way since some are from Germany and don´t understand us...
But yes this week was good! We are improving! We are following the spirit better! Good stuff!
Funny story. So haha we were going to this kids house named Manuel and my comp talked to a guy outside thinking it was him ( i knew it wasn´t) and he let us in like that. We talked with him, he was a little drunk but more there than not. hahha oh wow, I can´t tell you how many times hahaha wow just there are so many drunks in Chile. It is really sad, this guy cried almost the whole time, he cried all over Elder Metcalf haha! On his shoulder. At first I felt really bad, but after like 20 minutes of this and grabbing our hands and shoulders for strength while talking to him I just ended up smiling cause this guy wanted to change so bad. I just had to smile and tell him its ok. Elder Metcalf got a lot of snot on his shoulder and a wet hug etc... hahaha!!! But he had talked with missionaries before, his name is Miguel. It was super funny haha!
Also another experience. We burned all of our plans, not even one lesson and it was the end of the day with a member and we still hadn´t taught. So we just looked around, and I remembered something, something good about one house (a rich one) i remember a nice guy hanging out around by it like he lived there. So I pointed there and said lets go. We went, some dogs tried to kill us by comp insisted and I glad he did. I was definitely prompted. A girl came outside, just said, yeah come in! And we were like SWEET! But so we went in, turns out her dad fell when he was trunk on their stairs/driveway and has mental problems now and doesn´t have the capacity to learn new things. So he is just deteriorating. But first thing we asked after the prayer was why did you let us in. And she just broke down crying, and she is mad a god, but wants to forgive him and lots of other stuff.
Coincidences like this, they don´t just happen. Things, they don´t just happen. Everything, every thought that influences you, every action you take, it is all influenced by our Heavenly Father. He loves each and every one of you. Yes the Holy Ghost is real. It is available in these times as well as in times of old (1 Nephi 11) and it is the greatest gift you can have in your life. If you follow it, it will lead you to the happiest, most sucessful life you could possibly have, and as well a right hand at the throne of God in the end. Eternal Life.
For those of you who are looking, searching, confused, you have your answer. Read the Book of Mormon, pray about it, sincerely pray about it to know if its true. If it´s true it means everything. " If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God" "Knock and it shall be opened". The door doesn´t open itself. You have to knock, then you will receive your answer. I feel very strongly about following the spirit now. It is the greatest thing you can do in your life, do what God would have you do. When you pray you are aligning your will with his will, he has blessins already ready for you. He will make your life far more than you ever can. Regardless of money, regardless of status, he will make you more. He will make you a good person, like Jesus Christ, and you will have your family and be happy. All if you follow the spirit. But you can´t follow the spirit if you don´t renew your covenants at sacrament, or if you don´t obey the commandments. And you need the spirit. So repent, change your life, and be happy. Follow the spirit. You have the choice. Every man is free to choose eternal life or eternal misery. If you think how is it possible? just read the Book of Mormon, ask God, you´ll get your answer. And trusting in that answer, that is Faith.
I don´t know. To me it is all very clear and very logical. Not to mention the spirituality. The gospel makes sense, even more important is what I have felt. I am so grateful to have this knowledge. Just to understand what I do now will keep me on the straight and narrow path forever, and will help me know what i need to do to be happy with my family.
That is priceless. Everyone debating, just go. You will NOT regret it if you go. If you don´t go, I guarantee you will, and you will regret it the rest of your life. The haves and have nots can usually be traced back to the dids and did nots. Take a chance, have a little faith, and take that last step. Trust the Lord. (Proverbs)
Love you all! Here is the lowdown on Puerto montt beneath! I will start giving you my letters to the president! I got a sweet briefcase thing today! Random but sweet! THe CHURCH IS TRUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hola Presidente!
I learned a lot this week. Things are starting pick up here in Puerto Montt, we are really excited. Our first week together was a little slow, but we managed to find 10 new invesigators this past week. So now we have people to teach haha, the Lord is really blessing us it is great.
I´ve learned this week from studying chapter 4 about the spirit a LOT. But what I have realized is that it is best not to stress about things like following the spirit. Like thinking, we need to follow the spirit and have a heart attack stressing about it. Rather I´ve learned we have much better days when we relax, know we are obedient, try to recognize the spirit by having a prayer in the heart thinking ¨lord am i paying attention, now show we where you want to go¨ has been much more effective. I believe that stress shouldn´t exist you actually have faith and hope. Yes it will exist but that a whole bunch. I have really had some great experiences with following the spirit this week. It is a real testimony builder.
My comp and I are working things out. He has some problems and I have some problems also. I find myself not wanting to make him mad and just agreeing with what he wants to do, but what I´ve learned from him is that we need to work it out. Make a compromise. With Elder Galovich, we both just didn´t really mind, he didn´t mind if i took over, and we´d just pick a side. But now I realize in order to have the spirit we both need to be happy. No contention. So in doing this I´ve learned some things and I hope he is learning things as well. I´m trying to work on being more social and expressing my emotions, and explaining my reasoning for things. A lot of times I think things about in my head to where it makes a lot of sense and I find a solution and i just blah tell it. It usually comes out really blunt or bold even though I don´t notice it. So now I am trying to explain first with charity so they understand.
It takes a little bit more time, but I know that it is for the better and I just need to be patient with working things out between us. I´m working on loving people, saying hi in the morning to the other Elders rather than going straight to exercises, shower, and studies. I like studying so I like to start early but I lack social communication and the other Elders told me that I need to be more like Christ and less like a pharisee. So I am working on it. I really love everyone and I don´t feel like that, I am just not one for being able to express my feelings. So I am trying to change it!
I love being here in Puerto Montt right now. I received an answer to my fasts in Church. Revelation again. I thank the Lord. I am excited to put it into practice and we´ll see how things go! We are improving every week and the Lord will help us meet the standard if we do all we can!
Thanks,
Elder Reeder

Hello familia!!!!!
Feb 28, 2011
So big news. I got transferred... to PUERTO MONTT!!!!!! It is soooooo beautiful here! Definitely a big change. From a really tiny town in the forest and fields to THE HUGE GIANT TOURIST CITY. We are in in Pichipelluco (pee-chee-peyuco). Pretty sweet. We are actually reopening the sector so we don´t have any investigators, well we do now, but wedidn´t. So really we are just starting from scratch. We have an old area book from the past but not much. It is really good. I am with Elder Metcalf. He is from texas. Oh yeah! This is the sector Elder Day was in! He was comps with Elder Metcalf! All of the members and investigators know him hahah! I think he was on the other side though. Before it was all one really big sector. Now it is divided into 2 to manage better. We are on the side where there was like nobody, so we are walking around a lot. It really is a big change. It is really really pretty here in puerto montt. Everything is a lot faster, but i really like it. It is refreshing.
I have really learned how to love people more. Our investigators are progressing really fast because of it! The new zone is sweet but they are lacking excitement like we had in pto. varas (leading the mission) but is it totally ok because we are going to do a lot of good work here with the two of us!
To answer your questions Mom. All the winter stuff is marked down.... if you could send me a scarf that is not really bulky (thin!skinny!) but will keep me warm like one with really soft material for my face neck that´d be sweet! Some gloves that are warm but i will still be able to write effectively directions with them on. (i already have terrible handwriting xp). If you could send me 3 garment t shirts of the normal cotton ones that´d be great.
i´m not sick anymore, but i have a lot of flem. i eat pasta everynight. when it comes to food thats cheap my mind doesn´t expand much beyond pasta hahaha.
got the dvd player. works great!!!!!! oh and i guess we are aloud to use ipods here actually! as long as the music conforms with the rules in the white book is it ok! so if you could send me my IPOD! it is in the bottom of erin´s desk i think.... i put it in the bottom right drawer. haha i hid it so noone could use it. i think its there! find it! send it! i will delete all the crappy music. pretty much everything but there is also a lot of stuff i dont have here.
i haven´t gotten a usu bag nor a book. i didn´t get the church books yet.
you can just say yes to everyone on facebook mom. i dont mind! i will just delete everyone who is a bad influence when i get home!
ok cool stuff! so i love puerto montt already. the ward here is awesome. everything is organized, put together. the members are all really really nice and we have lots of members to come with us to appointments. they are really really great about taking care of investigators at chruch. with sitting by them, taking them to classes, befriending them. plus we can go and bring them to church because we don´t need to prepare everything and be their early. thus... more in church.... and more progressing towards baptism. one andrea absolutely loved it. i am so blessed to be here. i love it! walking is tough, but we are being smart and still teaching a lot for how few we have. we got along really well, and we are living with four elders here. elder amalla, elder williams. elder williams is brand spanking new hahaha! its great. i remember when i first got here, its fun haha.
well as far as things go to share. always remember your blessings. your prioritys. 1. god. 2. family. 3. fellow men. 4. yourself. pray to your heavenly father every day. outloud when you can by yourself. it really does make a big difference. love one another. remember it doesn´t matter how much you know about the gospel, you need to apply it. charity means absolutely nothing if your heart is not in the right place when you are doing things. 1 cor 13. you need to convert yourself everyday, change your heart, your mind, you. to become more like christ. i know that jesus christ is our savior. he is our brother. he is my best friend. i am sick of hearing people saying we worship joseph smith. i know christ lives. this is his work and through him, through his atonement can we return to live with our heavenly father.
and everyone else needs to know. share the gospel! its REAL easy! learn how and do it!
if you could help me out. right all of your fears etc about sharing gospel. that way i can understand a little more how i can help members here to talk to their friends!

Tricking in Chile haha!!
2/21/11
Ok so this past week has been awesome! A lot of stress, a lot of phone calls but we are getting a lot more of our lessons with members now which = super important.
Haha mom don´t kill me but we went on a trip to Frutillar as a district and there were kids tricking on the beach. So I had them spot me real quick for a backflip and then i was good to do things on my own again haha!!!! It was really good though! I felt so good after, so refreshed. Plus its a really good workout and i was soar for like 3 days after. Super awesome! Turns out they were investigators of Elder Nelson and Gonzalez cause they said hi and stuff it was cool.
Ok i am going to send the sd card with photos today. So be excited! Haha there are a couple videos at the end. I am totally sick again so sorry if I dont appear to have much energy and appear like i am going to die. Its because i don´t and i do feel like that haha.
Cool story. There is this one investigator named Amanda. She comes to church every week. She has for 2 or 3 years. Maybe more. But she won´t get baptized again. She doesn´t think she can. But with the spirit, our testimonies, and she finally understood the apostasy she accepted a baptismal date. It was really cool. Now we have to make sure she understands everything and it will happen hopefully!
Like 5 elders from our zone are heading down to Coyaigue and Puntas Arenas. Super south, bottom of the world. Our zone is leading the mission! So all the really good Elders that the Pres. doesn´t worry about are heading down there. But Elders play a lot of jokes during transfers, even the assistant, cause everyone wants to go south, or be a leader.... So we won´t REALLY know until tomorrow or wednesday.
We have been meaning to change Fresia, tell the members they have a problem for a long time, but now we are going to do it. Menos activos have always told us these "problems" the branch and we have never paid much attention to it. Certain people here, but we have talked to other members and the problem is there is just no love here. No charity. The apostles talked to all of the south of Chile, and they talked about just that. And all of the other problems we have in Chile, Fresia specifically. It was Elder D. Todd Christofferson, and Elder Boyd K. Packer, and Elaine Dalton of the relief society. It was pretty intense. They say they are scared for Chile, because people aren´t married, aren´t having kids, aren´t being loving nor having charity and sharing the gospel. A whole bunch of things. And with the apostles confirming our thoughts we are going to do it. They used some heavy hypocrisy doctrine and so will we.
People always talk about Charity and its really great and all but they don´t do it. What good does a knowledge of the scriptures do if you don´t apply it? We are going to organize things as a Presidency how we feel according to the lord and say nothing of it until we interview the people and give the callings. Too often have we been sort of manipulated by some members. but now we are making the decisions.
Lately I have been working on trying to love people more, show compassion, show people that i care about them. I really like 1 Thess. 2. It is great. That is what i am aiming for right now as being a missionary. Preaching the gospel like Jesus Christ would do it. Not talk at people, but with them. The scripture at the end is like "you are our joy and glory" something like that. And i thought, do i feel like that towards my investigators? How do i see them? As a person, a friend, a brother/sister who i constantly urge to do the good or just another person we are changing.
The joy of missionary comes from the changes of the investigators lives and how happy you are for them. But if you aren´t really putting your full interest into them. every one of them, how can you possibly have the pure joy when they change. Thats what i have been thinking about. I want to teach, help, urge my investigators so much to where they will change and progress, and I will be very very happy.
I had that gift when I first got in the mission and it seems I have lost it or something. So now I am really trying to talk with people, be friends, ask them what they are searching for. Not just teaching them doctrine at every point I can. But more of a conversation.
I love you all! Thank you for everything! I´m trying to think of things if i need anything.... Elina i got your letter! Jill too! Umm... send me talks from lds.org you like!!! Scott and James your papers should be in really soon here! Get to it! Cool! Love you all!
There is a big difference between the Pharisees and Jesus Christ.

There is a big difference between the Pharisees and Jesus Christ.

cool story dad. i did what you told me with the apostasty guy and a lot more by the spirit. it was really miracle i dont have time to explain it all now but i just listened to him and yeah ill explain later.
i got another haircut. i think i will send you my flashdrive today por fin hahaha but it will be good. how is everyone doing!!! i realize the answers to my prayers lately it is really cool. i have been praying so hard to find a better way to do missionary work. the answer, is the members. I have this guy hermano pallan who has a lot of experience. i talked to him the other day about his mission. he said he just worked with members and would get 30+ baptism every month!!!!! he is my answer! i am talking with him and trying to put together papers or outlines i can use to teach a capacitation and get members motivated to share the gospel. i will us it the rest of my mission if i can make it really good and learn how to work with members really good.
ALL OF YOU AT HOME SHARE THE GOSPEL! THAT MEANS INVITE PEOPLE TO CHURCH! TO YOUR HOUSE TO HEAR THE MISSIONARYS!!!! THE TIME TO DO MISSIONARY WORK IS TODAY! NOT TOMORROW!
okay dad to answer your question. maybe i guess what i REALLY like is when you send me talks from general authoritys. just, wow they are the bomb. so maybe send me 2 or 3 you like a week or something. i love reading them. one i really like is President Kimballs vision on missionary work by ezra taft benson. i am really trying to get better at working with members to share the gospel. the best missionaries know how to transfer this vision found in this talk. if you imagine, every family bringing an investigator (friend) to church. talking with them, bringing them to us, that would be at the least 20 investigators in church (in fresia its way small) 20 progressing towards baptism and potentially 20 baptisms every month. 20x1. or 20 times bigger than the standard of one. SO FAMILY what i really need from you is to tell me doubts about sharing the gospel, why dont you do it, how i can make you feel comfortabel about doing, how i can give you a desire, what activities i could do to get people excited and bringing people church. just give me ideas!!!!!!!! and you should all be bringing at LEAST one person to church who isnt a member every week!!! get them to talk with the missionarys. they know exactly how to teach what you have a hard time explaining.
Also another thought i had was about magnifying your priesthood. I read in the ensign "a true priesthood man is one who successfully invites and helps people come unto christ". something like that. but from what i understood is sharing the gospel, and helping fulfill all your duties (passing, preparing, blessing sacrament etc.). But sharing the gospel. I felt pretty good because im a true man for 2 years of my life hahaha!!! And I plan on being one for the rest of my life! You have no idea HOW EXCITED I AM to talk with friend with this knowledge i have of how to share the gospel. How simple it is, all i need to do. Im excited to be a meber and leave with the missionaries. But for the rest of you priesthood holders. Magnify your priesthood. Participate. Prepare for a mission. The lord needs missionaries. The second coming is coming soon, and god wants all of his children. If not, you are waiting, share the gospel with your friends. Attend a mission prep. class. Study pmg lesson 3 all the lesson. SHARE THE GOSPEL! THAT IS A TRUE PRIESTHOOD MAN! BE LIKE ALMA, THE SONS OF MOSIAH, NEPHI, PETER, JOHN THE BAPTIST, ALL OF THE MEN IN THE BOOK OF MORMON ARE MISSIONARYS. Kind of puts things in perspective right? Jesus christ was the greatest because he was the greatest servant. What better way to serve your fellow men then giving them eternal life and the holy ghost, revelation and peace for their lives. Think about it. John the Baptist only had the aaronic priesthood, and he baptized the son of god. Deacons and teachers and priests can help. Share the Gospel. Learn how, and do it.
,
but ya dad, talks. TALKS!!!! that would be cool if you could find on the apostasy, stuff on points in preach my gosepl in chapter 3. so i can have a really good understanding of the principles in preach my gospel. i dont know you think!
MOM QUESTIONS.
Okay Mom to answer to your questions!
I got a blessing from Hermano Pallan last monday, and I felt better the day of. So yes i feel great!
Yes i realize i hit my six month mark in like 3 days. pretty crazy how time flies! i should be a better missionary by now! haha everyone tells me it takes time but i want to get it all figured out and working really effectively right now. know how people feel, how to react, how to help. so much i want to do now! but i have to be patient i guess.
yes i was able to download grateful. i have yet to play it! so yes you can send all the of the music like that. thatd be awesome. there is a lot of music in a folder of the left computer, one of mine. piano stuff? i dont know. but thatd be cool if you could send that halo song in that folder! and also the rising!!! also with sending all of those PLEASE SEND ME PHOTOS!!!!! like of me tricking, some of my profile photos of long ago where i am tricking and upside down (not that long ago pretty new actually) or the cool one of me snowboarding on the desktop where i am getting a ton of air. i dont have many photos. :( i was happy with all of the lax photos. but to send you just attach them to the email!!! i can print them here. save them to my flash drive etc which is way cool and small.
my allergies are good now. as long as i take the stuff.
yes i heard there was another. i felt the first pretty crazy. we have emergency backpacks all of us that wev prepared for earthquakes. a 72 hour kit. its pretty legit haha but were ready. we have a bunch of cool code words for when the mission president calls us.
ERIN TELL ME ABOUT JON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
haha i havent gotten any letters from elina :(. elina they are lost in the mail!!!!!!!! well really i dont know but im assuming. :(
yes i got that shirt. its cool and fits good but i dont get it. i think thats the point isnt it. haha people just look at it and are confused.
transfers are next tuesday. i think i might go. i have no idea. i love fresia but i feel like im ready to start over fresh. here is really small, well no really but we have talked to like everyone here. i feel like we are just cutting down the area book of people who dont want us, or dropping people so we can find people who are ready to keep commitments and really want to know. it is insane how we still manage to find 10 new people every week!
the book of mormon manual thing i bought at the distribution center. maybe you could just buy another. just ask their opinion on what is the best to study it i guess i dont know. or maybe even better one on the new and old testament. im just doing it by reading and maybe not catching the important things sometimes. i want to STUDY STUDY. also maybe some missionary materials or something?? im not really sure... i guess i should just stick to really simple things and teach really simple but as far as studying i like to study by subject so i really understand it and have a deep understanding and testimony and break it down and explain it really simply haha. a gospel principles book! a normal one in english! son buenos! maybe a symbolism book. that would be way cool.
Well i guess that is all. I gotta go. I love you all. Happy LATE LATE BIRTHDAY MATTHEW! I FINALLY REMEMBERED TO WRITE IT TODAY!

Hello Family!
2/07/11
Whoo... well it is 8:00 in the morning over here in Chile. We are going to Volcano Osorno in a couple of minutes. I am really tired hahahaha I was reallly really sick yesterday. I think i got dehydrated and a pretty bad fever from fasting, but i think i sweated it all out last night. It was pretty rough hahaha but i am ok now i think.
Alright, so things are going pretty good here in Fresia! I will probably be leaving pretty soon but yeah things are going great!
Lately I have been reading a lot, trying to focus more on the Book of Mormon and conference talks. Sometimes I study preach my gospel too much when i really need to just give myself some time and enjoy reading, haha I feel like I am always just searching for answers to peoples questions, planning lessons etc. But yes it is helping me a lot.
Wow I am really tired. :p
It is pretty cool what is happening with one of our investigators. He is becoming converted. His name is Mario. We taught him yesterday and his mom (we have never taught) just had a ton of questions, and rumors that aren´t true in her head. It was a little nuts, but Mario told his mom to calm down and listen, he was defending us and the Book of Mormon. Pretty cool.
I guess what I have learned a lot lately is peoples points of view over here. A large majority of the people with who I talk don´t feel good in the churches. Catholic, evangelic, all of them. They don´t believe they are true, they don´t feel right being there. It is sad because they don´t believe they are true, that any of the churches on the earth and true and that God doesn´t exist. It is really frusturating to tell people, WE KNOW WHY! WE HAVE THE ANSWER! But they are just so put out about how wrong all the other churches they have no hope to hear us. The attitude of, oh it is just another church that says the same thing.
So I guess I would say be very grateful for the knowledge you have. People here have books of questions. They are living in darkness. People spread so many rumors about Mormons it is crazy. Everything always talkes about the Smit. They say it like that. Who is the smit? Polygamy, all sorts of things.
I´m sorry i can´t remember what i learned this week!!!! All i know from this week is yesterday the holy ghost really helped me out. I was REALLY sick, but it would periodically give me comfort, make me feel good. Thats a little hard to explain haha, but yes it works. It helped me out a lot.
I love your emails, you should definitely fill me in more on what happened with Erin & Jon! Don´t have too much time today. Uggh I am tired hahaha. Read the conference talks they are really good. I really like the one about the 2 lines of communication. Also the consecrating our lives. I know my priorities when i get home. 1. God 2. Family 3. Fellow Man 4. Myself. That means I will get work to work around my family and church. More time with my family = Better. :)
Also, about the two lines of communication. I really liked it. A incative youth here tells us he thinks god doesn´t want him to serve a mission cause he had a "dream" or something. But really if you read that talk it explains, that that doesn´t work. I won´t explain it all read it.
I love you all. Love each other. Be grateful for EVERYTHING you have. I love it here, I am just a little out of it and tired from being sick, maybe still sick, and it is early. I encourage you all to read the general conference talks, they contain a lot of good info. :)

• ERIN IS GETTING MARRIED????!!!!
Sent: Mon 1/31/11 12:31 PM
Mom, i was just thinking, send me some Matt Costa music! The song called "Sunshine", it is really good i like it a lot!
Well, wow. My mind is officially blown. ERIN IS GETTING MARRIED!!!!!!!!!!!!!????????? WHA!!!!!!!?????? I won´t get to see any one in the family get married probably. Every will be married when I am home :(. But seriously, this time is must be a joke. And Erin didn´t send me an email but Shauna´s is having a kid? Is that what i understand????!!!!!
Yeah, holy cow, thats all I have to say. WOWOWOWOWOW.
Ok on another not, Kelli that is awesome you have desires to be awesome at lacrosse. One thing to think about that was a little hard for me. Just score goals, don´t think about it, corners, nothing. Just score goals. Go get the ball and make something happen. You´ll make mistakes and then you´ll fix them from doing. But go run a lot, do wall ball, be confident and go to town on the goalie! I recommend shooting the ball at her to get her scared of you first so she´ll flinch the rest of the game. Hahaha just kidding, that is not polite to do to a girl. Work hard and be good!
What I havfe learned a lot about this week is finding people. Again. It always has to do with faith. It says so many times in the Finding Chapter about ¨"having faith that the lord is preparing people for you" and really it is true. There is all of the work but what it comes down to is Faith, and doing everything you can do. EVERYTHING. It is incredible the difference between our success at the beginning of a week/day and the end of the week/day. For example, when we leave the house, we are all excited a new day or new week. We are bold, we try really hard to get in houses and get addresses. Where as at the end that kind of dies down and you get used to not getting in houses or getting directions. Two days ago was a mini miracle. We stopped by the church to open it for Hermano Paillan and he couldn´t come with us. (It was 9:20). Everything had fallen. We had burned all of our plans. We didn´t know what to do. Suddenly Hermano Luis Vargas out of nowhere comes on his bike. He didn´t really want to come with us but i told him " Hermano, can we just knock one door, just one door, and if they don´t let us in you can go. But we are going to get in" I told Elder Galovich that, and we got that in our heads. We knocked, talked, we had to ask like 4 times, and testify a bunch. BUT we got in. We had a little lesson, found a new, got a lesson with a member, all just like that.
Faith without works is dead. :)
Ok and here is my testimony for the Book of Mormon:
"The Book of Mormon is true. I have read it, prayed about it, and strived to live the principles within in my life. Time after time after time after time I put my faith in the words of this Book and I never regret it. It simply is... I just love it! It is right every time! I have seen it far too many times in my life that I cannot and I will not doube anything in this book. This Book, The Lord, they made far more of a man than I could have ever been. Ever. This Book understands me, my soul, my feelings. No one man could´ve possibly written this Book without inspiration from God. It is pure evidence that yes God lives, Jesus Christ lives, and yes they do love us, yes Joseph Smith was a prophet. Aside from all of that is what I have felt. I know by the Holy Ghost that the Book of Mormon is true. I know it. I feel it. I still feel it. I see the results of it in my life. For all of those who have not read it, read it. Just read it. Well don´t just read, think about the message within. Ponder on it. Pray about it. Pay attention to what you are reading. I promise you, you will receive an answer that it is true from the Holy Ghost as I have that Jesus IS the Christ, Joseph Smith was his prophet and that God still loves us and speaks when he wants to speak. Man cannot put limits on God. Especially one seeking the best for his children. Just read it. I cannot even describe how I feel about it. It´s true! That´s all there is! It´s true, it´s true, it is true. Now read it! Go!"
Hahaha funny story the other day. Abba was playing on the bus. "Take a chance on me" ahaha it just relates to missionary work so well. If you change your mind! Take a chance on me! Hahahaha
We played ping pong as a zone today. I destroyed everyone in around the world. It was pretty fun! Everyone has welts i just have one hahaha.
Oh ya one thing that would be great, is if you could all tell me things I am really good at. My talents. I need to discover my talents according to a talk, and learn to use them to my advantage in missionary work. But be honest. I dont want you to tell me im good at everything. What you honestly thing I have talent at that i could use. Magnify. Like 5 things. I LOVE THANK YOU!
Oh ya, if you could send me a guitar tab for "The Rising" or piano sheet music that´d be cool. The spirit of god song. You know? Or tan bien if you could send me sheet music for "Grateful" its a really good song on the Paul Cardall song dealio.
AND A GOSPEL PRINCIPLES BOOK IN ENGLISH!!!!! AGGGH!!!!! PLEASE!!!!!
And also that book of mormon manual i bought a while ago. Maybe if you can the teachings of joseph smith president book.
Ok im finally good on those. Well I gotta go now.
I just want you all to know. I love. I pray for you. Your heavenly father loves you. And when I get back, I will make you all go back to church ( because i love you) hahahaha!!!!!! But seriously I love you all I am having such a good time. Read the book of mormon!!!!! READ IT EVERY DAY!!!! JUST DOOOOO IT!!!!!
SHARE THE GOSPEL!!!! BE THAT AWESOME MEMBER I LOVE WHO ALWAYS LEAVES WITH MISSIONARIES!!!!! EVERY MEMBER A MISSIONARY FOR LIFE!!!!
Think to yourself. Am just i active? Or am i active in the gospel? (Building the kingdom.)
Un abrazo.

Go!"
